Having worked with Cee-Lo Green as one half of Gnarls Barkley, produced for the Black Keys, Danger Doom, and Beck, amongst others, Danger Mouse's latest project sees him team up with Italian composer Daniele Luppi for Rome. The project, which has taken over five years to finish, brings together the sounds of the 60s and 70s italian cinema scores, while bringing a modern appeal with the beautiful vocals of Norah Jones and Jack White.
The above teaser did the rounds towards the end of March, giving fans a glimpse into the project, with the collaborators discussing the project in more detail. The album itself has a release date of May 16th, however the nice guys over at NPR have made the full streaming available until the album is released, so check it out below. Personally, I think it's a masterpiece, and while it might not be for everyone, it underlines the talents of Danger Mouse as he brings another sterling project to life.
